The Blog Module is alive and well and living on a couple of sites now...

The Blog Module is based on the News Module, so much so in fact it was made out of it, the biggest difference besides everything being changed to Blog, was the changing of the [More] link into Comments and a count of them supplied by a UDT (user defined tag) that Elijah Lofgren developed.
