I've been experimenting with galleries to see what can be made with the Album module...
Some use jQuery, my favorite, and some use the prototype/scriptaculous combo, and some are just CSS driven, but all of them use the Album module

This one is supposed to have a starting image in the middle with the first thumb on the right...Click a thumb to get it to fade into view...
